A single 3000g balloon was launched on Sunday April 18, 2021 at 6:54am MDT with six CU Boulder Gateway to Space payloads. The balloon reported a maximum altitude of 105,741 ft (32.23 km) and the payloads landed 2.63 miles out in a field south of Arriba, Colorado at 9:02am MDT at 39.236333, -103.189722. A combination of four-wheel drive and muddy hiking (see pictures) was necessary to recover the payloads. Because of the day change, Eaton Middle School was not able to participate.
