GPS Without Good Altitude
This is the map generated with combined logs from K0YUK-11 during ascent and K0ANI-11 during descent.

I initially made this next map as I had forgotten that Mike Manes had forwarded along a log of the K0ANI-11 APRS system to fix the descent phase.
I often wonder, is this just a 3D lock problem and are the lat/long positions still good even if the altitude is obviously wrong? Well, I don't believe I'll be trusting any GPS systems that start lying about altitude in the future. Although the track is somewhat close, it progressively gets further and further away from the good position as reported by the nominal APRS system shown above.
