The format and computer programs used to track the balloon are inconsistent with simple bearings from a known latitude and longitude. The various "(payload tentative)" designations above arise from the fact that we are in the process of building a new ATV system. Once the ATV status is known, a weight budget will come into being and various other systems will be added to the balloon.
The most likely dropout will be the cross band repeater.
HF - We used to try and set up on 7235 KHz. However, commercial broadcasts and long standing nets on that freq have caused us problems. So, we have settled on these frequencies
