Denver Area Fox Hunt

For a very long time we have had a monthly Radio Direction Finding event in the Denver area. In recent times attendance has fallen off somewhat and the gang has decided to make a bit of a push attempting to get old timers and new hunters to return to the event this year.

If you haven't hunted in a while come on out and participate. The "Fox" this month is Chris Krengel, KB0YRZ. Here is an announcement he placed on the RDF_Colorado Yahoo Group email list with some minor edits made by me (eoss webmaster).

Here are the rules: (weather permitting)

1. Starting location, Loretto Heights College. See this page for directions.

2. Comm freq (Talk-In and Operations) 146.880 MHz.

3. The primary fox freq will be announced at the start

4. The scoring system will be announced at the start.

The fox hunt will be at 3:00pm MDT (21:00 UTC) SUNDAY Feb. 14th  (EVEN THOUGH WE HAVE SWITCH TO MDT)
