EOSS On-Air Mtg., 4/18/95

PERSON PASSING TRAFFIC IS LISTED FIRST, THEN THE TRAFFIC.

Rick (N0KKZ) - There has been lots of traffic on the EOSS World Wide Web (WWW) home page.

Merle (K0YUK) - W5VSI, AA0P and N0PEP (and Merle) are at the Martin Marietta ham shack doing integration of the UCCS payload w/ shuttle 2. Looking good, still one bug in data recording, but that looks like a minor problem. The launch is still on for April 29th. There will be two flights on the 29th. Shuttle 1 (with some frequency changes) will be flown with the U.S.A.F. Academy package and will be launched at 6 a.m.  Shuttle 2 and the UCCS experiment will be launched at 8 a.m.  The Academy flight is expected to last for eight to ten hours.

Greg (K0ELM) - Tracking and recovery will track both flights. They expect to track and recover the 2nd flight (the UCCS flight) before devoting their attention to the USAFA flight.
