Calling the EOSS Balloon Net. Calling the EOSS Balloon Net. This is _______________ calling the EOSS Balloon Net.
This net is conducted each Tuesday night, except for the second Tuesday of each month, at 8:00 P.M. local time on the 147.225 and the 145.160 MHz Repeaters. Repeater usage is courtesy of the Colorado Repeater Association. If there is any emergency traffic, break during any pause and this net will be suspended until the emergency traffic has been cleared.
This net is conducted by Edge of Space Sciences, an organization that promotes science and education through amateur radio and high altitude balloons. The purpose of this net is to collect and disseminate information concerning amateur balloon projects both in Colorado and throughout the country.
Edge of Space Sciences meets the second Tuesday of each month either the St. Thomas More Church in Centennial or OneRain on Longmont. The formal meeting starts at 7:00 P.M. with an informal gathering starting at 6:30 P.M. All interested are invited to attend.
