The Balloon Position Report page makes APRS balloon position data available to the FAA in near real-time.
This report page is also available from the www.wxqa.com web page.
EOSS regularly files the same group of APRS systems. I have created a page that may be easier to use than the remaining query forms on this page. Take your pick.
Regular APRS Package Tracking Page
The CALL field in all of the forms below requires an explicit CALL and SSID (ex: NKKZ-7). If you don't know the CALL/SSID of the balloon then use the locator below which will accept wildcards (ex: NKKZ*)
Usually the callsign of an EOSS balloon will be found under W5VSI-11 or KYUK-11
Use this query to collect full log files of Balloon Flights after they have landed. Be sure to back date the start of the data acquisition and that you set the Duration for enough hours of that data to cover the entire flight. I usually just ask for the data to start X number of hours ago and for findu to return the same number (X) of hours of data since our balloon callsigns are only used aboard payloads.
