Historic Photos Added
May 8th, 2005
I've been attempting to dig up some photo documentation of the earlier days
of EOSS. I had some minimal success.
If YOU have some oldies but goodies we haven't posted to the web pages, send
them in. It would really help if you KNOW the flight number, and can supply a
caption especially if there are individuals in the photo who can be identified.
Below are links to places where you can find the photos I discovered.
Many are from my collection, however, some are from others. They were stored
but not properly labeled so I can't give proper attribution. Sorry about that.

EOSS-1 Recap
I believe but am not 100 percent sure that this photo comes from our first
flight. It was stored (hard copy) with a bunch of early photos but is the only
one where an individual (Jack, W7JLC/AA0P) is wearing the WVN Balloon Team
hat.

EOSS-2 Recap
These pictures were in a set marked EOSS-2 so I'm fairly confident. Prep,
and launch activities.
EOSS-003
EOSS-3 Recap
Picture of Jack Crabtree filling balloon and a second showing him toting it
about with two of our charter members in the background.
EOSS-006
EOSS-6 Recap
Excellent photo of the 54K cu.ft. Balloon in the winds of a rough launch
attempt.
EOSS-008
EOSS-8 Recap
A few nice photos from the Colorado State Fair launch in Pueblo back in
1992.
EOSS-025
EOSS-25 Recap
All people pictures. No launch prep. Must be really early at the launch
site as no apparent preparations are underway
Not so historical but ...
Here are some photos that were originally posted to the EOSS_Trackers email
list website. I had to remove them from that location as we were running out of
the expansive 20 MBytes Yahoo gives groups to store data (hey, it's free
right?). So, I thought I'd add them to the appropriate recaps.
